How LureSafe was born:

LureSafe was born on the Columbia River out of family, loss, and a need to make those early mornings on the water a little easier. In 2004, after losing my wife and then my dad just two weeks apart, I moved in with my mom, Anna Marie, so we could support each other. We started fishing the Brewster Pool together right as the King salmon season was taking off, launching at dark-thirty and fumbling with gear in the dark on her old tri-hull. Mom was an impatient, talented sewing and quilting whiz, and she wasn’t about to waste time untangling lures—so she stitched up a simple cover to keep our tackle neat and ready to fish. That idea became our very first product, the #001 Clear Cover, and marked our start in the fishing industry.

When Mom passed in 2014 after a full, well-lived life, I kept our vision going, expanding LureSafe into a full line of tackle storage and transport solutions. Today, I run a small Bait & Tackle Shop on our property at 1408 Sunset Drive, just a few blocks from the Brewster Boat Launch, RV park, and our great little town of Brewster, Washington. I have also made a manufacturing building for Luresafe at the same location. If you’re in the area, I’d love to have you stop by, talk fishing, and see where LureSafe began.
