MATERIALS WE USE

At LureSafe™, we believe the quality of a product begins with the materials used to build it. That's why we use premium materials sourced from trusted suppliers throughout the United States.

Every LureSafe™ product is sewn with genuine GORE® Tenara® PTFE thread in the needle position—the same premium thread used in marine canvas, awnings, and other outdoor products exposed to years of sun, water, and weather.

Unlike standard polyester or nylon thread, GORE® Tenara® thread resists UV damage and will not rot from moisture exposure. Because the needle thread remains visible on the exterior of the finished product, it provides exceptional durability and long-lasting seam performance.

For production efficiency and consistent stitch quality, some sewing operations utilize industrial pre-wound polyester bobbins.

Clear Vinyl

We use premium 20-gauge clear vinyl sourced from trusted U.S. suppliers, including TVF and Fabric Wholesale Direct.

Our clear vinyl is:

Flexible and durable
Water resistant
UV resistant
Easy to clean
Crystal clear for excellent tackle visibility

The 20-gauge thickness provides an excellent balance between durability and flexibility, making it ideal for fishing tackle storage applications.

Recreational Vinyl Mesh

Most of our vinyl-coated polyester mesh is purchased from Snyder Manufacturing, including our Signature Orange mesh, proudly made in the USA.

Additional materials may be sourced from Sailrite and Manart-Hirsch when necessary.

Binding

Most LureSafe™ products feature premium 3/4" or 1" vinyl binding sewn around exposed edges for additional durability and a clean finished appearance.

Webbing

We use Directex® polypropylene webbing in medium and heavy-weight configurations depending on the application.

This webbing provides:

Excellent strength
Moisture resistance
Long service life
Reliable performance in outdoor environments

Hook & Loop Fasteners

We purchase our hook and loop fasteners from Halco USA, a leading supplier of industrial fastening products.

Most LureSafe™ products utilize black sew-on hook and loop fasteners in 5/8" and 1" widths.
